Ivy Grigoryan

Ivy Grigoryan, Esq.

Ivy Grigoryan graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Certificate in Criminal Law from Western State University College of Law. She was a member of Dean’s Circle, a colloquia fellow, the Law Review’s Senior Symposium Editor, and a faculty research assistant. She also spent two years as a Certified Law Clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in the Hard-Core Gang Division and studied criminal law at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague.

After graduation, Ivy began working for Richard B. Blum, Esq., a prominent attorney in Orange County. This gave her hands-on experience in a variety of cases, from civil litigation to large-asset family matters, and eventually inspired her to establish her own firm. In 2013, she became a Partner at GBG.

Ivy has defended criminal and civil cases in both state and federal court. As a civil litigator, she’s represented subcontractors in construction defect actions and has pursued devastating personal injury claims. With experience in landlord tenant law, family law, and criminal law as well, she has also had the opportunity to defend both felony white-collar cases and misdemeanor cases (weapons charges, hit-and-runs, DUIs) alike.

Today, Ivy’s focus is on personal injury litigation in an effort to expand areas of law for injured plaintiffs. Her philosophy is simple: to pursue client rights through aggressive, high-quality representation and to educate and support clients every step of the way.

Tigran Grigoryan, Esq.

Tigran Grigoryan graduated with a Certificate in Criminal Law from Western State University College of Law. He was a Dean’s Fellow, a multiple Witkin Award winner, and a fierce Mock Trial competitor.

His experience as a clerk at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office combined with his criminal law education is what eventually encouraged him to pursue a career in criminal law defending criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to white collar felonies.

Tigran Grigoryan

Today, Tigran is an active trial litigator with experience defending catastrophic personal injury cases, including truck and vehicular accidents and premise liability (“slip and fall” injuries). He also has extensive experience litigating against government entities, including actions against both law enforcement agencies (i.e. police misconduct and civil rights violations) and school entities (i.e. children injured while under school care). An experienced contract litigator he has worked on a number of complex cases against both large financial institutions and major corporations.

Claudia Ramirez

Claudia Ramirez, Paralegal

Claudia was born and raised in Boyle Heights. She attended Los Angeles City College, where she received her Paralegal Certificate. She is currently attending University of La Verne, majoring in Legal Studies.

When she is not working, Claudia is working for a non-profit organization that was recently created along with other 2 women, Ninos Sin Zapatos. The organizations mission is to collect donations, like used/new shoes, clothes, blankets and toys to be taken to Tijuana to distribute to people who are less fortunate.

Claudia has two dogs, Luckas and Trinity, and she enjoys playing pool and horseback riding.

Diego Serpas, Case Manager

Diego Serpas was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He received his Associates Degrees in Political Science, along with his paralegal Certification approved by the AMA at Mt. San Antonio College.

“I've always wanted to work in the legal field to help those in dire need of unfortunate circumstances, like in personal injury. The legal field is complex, and it's very satisfying when I
can help a client who is unaware of the process. I have high hopes of one day going to law school to become an attorney myself, and see myself working in the legal field indefinitely.”

Diego Serpas

When Diego is not in the office, he enjoys spending his free time skateboarding with friends, hanging out with family, DJing, walking his dog, going to art exhibits, and trying new restaurants.
